How to Publish on Theater and Earn From Unlocks (By Invite)

Theater is by invite, so only invited accounts can use it today. If your account is invited, you can publish films and series made in Aristotto, set a price, and keep 70% of every credit unlock (80% as a Creator Program Partner). Publishing needs a Virtuoso plan or above.
This article covers the publishing rules, the Studio steps, pricing, review, earnings and editing a live title. Theater is at aristotto.ai/theater, and your work sits under Your titles.
What do you agree to before your first title?
Before your first title, Theater shows its rules:
Everything must be made in Aristotto.
Real people can appear only if they consented.
Every title is reviewed by a person.
Stripe verifies your ID once; a Creator Program check or an earlier one counts.
A title can be taken down after a valid claim.
Your titles are never used to train AI.
To go on, accept Theater's publishing terms and press Agree and continue.
Where do you start publishing?
From the Video Editor. After you export, the Export complete screen has Publish to Theater. It opens Studio with your export as the first episode. Export needs a paid plan.
From Theater. Go to Your titles, then press Publish a title.
What are the Studio steps?
Details: add the title, logline, synopsis, genre, rating, language and a poster.
Episodes for a series, or Video for a film: upload your videos. A trailer is optional and runs 5 to 90 seconds.
Price: Free, Premium or credits per episode.
Review: check everything in one place.
Submit.
How do the price options work for viewers?
| Price | Who watches without unlocking |
|---|---|
| Free | Every viewer, including Base |
| Premium | Atelier, Virtuoso and Signature viewers |
| Credits per episode | Signature, Team Signature and Enterprise viewers |
On a credits-per-episode title, other viewers unlock an episode with credits or buy a rest-of-season pass. Your share comes from those credit unlocks.
How does review work?
Automated checks run first, then a person reviews the title. There are four outcomes:
Changes requested: notes are pinned to the fields that need work.
Rejected: you can appeal, and appeals are answered within 3 days.
Scheduled.
Live.
How do you earn from unlocks?
Your share is 70% of each credit unlock, rising to 80% if you are a Creator Program Partner.
The share is paid as Aristotto credits, not cash.
Each unlock's share arrives 7 days later, after the refund window has closed. A viewer can undo an unlock within 10 minutes if they watched less than 10% of it.
Your titles lists each title's status (for example Live or Removed), Open in Studio or View on Theater, Theater credits with the amount on hold, and Watch time.

Example: How do you publish a two-episode series from the Video Editor?
Edit episode one in the Video Editor and press Export.
On Export complete, press Publish to Theater.
If this is your first title, read the rules, agree to the publishing terms and press Agree and continue. Then Studio opens, with your export already in place as episode one.
In Details, fill in the title, logline, synopsis, genre, rating, language and poster.
In Episodes, upload episode two, and a trailer of 5 to 90 seconds if you want one.
In Price, choose credits per episode.
Open Review, then press Submit.
Watch the status in Your titles. Once the series is Live, each unlock adds to Theater credits and lands 7 days later.
What should you check when publishing does not work?
No Theater for you. Theater is open to invited accounts only.
Cannot publish. Publishing needs a Virtuoso plan or above.
No Export. Export in the Video Editor needs a paid plan.
ID check. Stripe checks your ID once before you publish.

An edit is waiting. New or replaced videos and a lowered rating wait for review.
Title shows Removed. A valid claim can take a title down.
Earnings on hold. Credits land 7 days after each unlock.
