Interest-Based Advertising

Aristotto uses referral and first-touch campaign attribution to understand how a visitor arrived and attribute eligible referrals or purchases. A first-touch record can include campaign source, medium and related parameters, advertising click identifiers and referral information. Referral identifiers help associate an eligible signup or purchase with the referring affiliate, administer commissions and prevent referral fraud.

FirstPromoter administers the affiliate program. An attributed account or transaction can involve email, account and referral identifiers and relevant purchase information. Referral attribution is a processing purpose of its own; it is not consent to model training or permission to promote your creations.

Interest-based advertising generally selects messages using information about interests or activity, potentially across services. Having a campaign identifier in a referral record does not, by itself, mean Aristotto runs an advertising network, hosts advertisements from such a network or profiles every visitor across sites.

If optional advertising technologies are deployed, their actual providers, purposes, storage and choices must be identified. Information already shared with a provider is subject to the applicable processing arrangements and that provider's independent practices where relevant. We do not claim that participation in an industry advertising program or a universal cross-device opt-out exists merely because other services provide one.

Use Cookie Preferences for supported optional choices and the Cookie Policy for the identified technologies. Browser settings can restrict or remove storage, and devices may offer their own advertising controls. A choice can be specific to that browser or device. Clearing storage can remove a remembered preference; using another browser or device may require another choice.

An optional-cookie preference does not change content visibility, disconnect an app, cancel a subscription or withdraw a separate training permission. It may not erase earlier lawfully processed records or stop all service messages. Contextual communication and transactional messages are different from optional interest-based advertising.

Certain laws provide rights concerning sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Definitions, exceptions and available rights differ by jurisdiction. If a right applies to you, use the request instructions in Privacy Choices or contact info@aristotto.com. An account-level legal request is separate from merely clearing a browser cookie.

This page does not make a categorical claim about the treatment of every provider or privacy signal. The relevant deployment and applicable law determine how a choice must be honored. A policy update cannot replace a required consent or retroactively authorize another purpose.
