DMCA Policy

Aristotto, Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. This page describes how to submit a copyright infringement notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

DMCA Notice

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list).
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (such as URLs).
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Consider whether a license or legal exception, such as fair use, applies before submitting a notice. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may result in liability under applicable law.

Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which Aristotto may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or that person’s agent.

Notice Handling and Restoration

On receipt of a qualifying infringement notice under the applicable DMCA process, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material and promptly notify the affected user.

We may provide a copyright notice, counter-notice, and relevant contact information to the affected user or claimant as needed to administer this process and applicable law. Avoid including unrelated sensitive information in a submission.

For a qualifying counter-notice under the applicable DMCA process, we provide a copy to the original notice sender and inform them of the restoration process. Restoration occurs no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notice unless we first receive notice that the claimant has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the relevant infringement. A separate lawful restriction under our safety rules may still apply and is considered independently.

Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, Aristotto may suspend or terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

Safety and Intimate-Image Reports

Copyright notices are separate from reports of child-safety violations, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other harmful content. For those concerns, use the content report control or contact support@aristotto.ai; the Terms of Use describe the removal-request and review process. You do not need to own copyright to report content affecting you. Identify the content’s location instead of attaching suspected child sexual abuse material.
