Generative AI Additional Terms of Use
These additional terms apply when you use Aristotto's AI generation or editing features. Read them with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. They explain AI-specific content rights and processing; they do not replace mandatory protections that apply to you.
As between you and Aristotto, you retain the rights the law recognizes in material you submit and results generated for you. This is subject to other people's rights and restrictions disclosed for a model or licensed asset. AI results may resemble results received by others. Receiving an output does not guarantee exclusive rights, copyright protection or clearance for a particular use.
Aristotto's operating permission does not transfer your ownership. A result can contain or resemble material subject to someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, likeness or other rights. You are responsible for the rights and permissions needed for your inputs and intended use, including commercial use.
Images, video and audio can contain identifying or sensitive information about a person, including their face and voice. Whether a feature creates or processes legally regulated biometric information depends on the feature, technical processing and applicable law. Obtain the permissions required to submit and process another person's likeness or voice; permission to possess a file does not establish permission for every AI use.
A feature that processes regulated biometric information must explain its specific purpose, processing providers, retention and applicable consent or other lawful conditions before that processing occurs. General acceptance of these Terms is not a substitute for a required specific biometric notice or consent. A training preference is a separate choice from permission to process a requested feature.
This section does not define every photograph as biometric data or establish that a particular face or voice feature creates a regulated identifier. The actual feature and applicable legal requirements determine whether an additional notice or permission is necessary.
All users must be at least 18. If a feature processes a person's regulated biometric information, use it only where the applicable notice, permission and legal requirements are satisfied. Do not submit material to impersonate someone for fraud, create prohibited sexual or nude material, exploit a child, or evade another person's privacy and likeness rights.
Service eligibility does not itself establish permission to process another person's information. The age of an account holder and the information about a person depicted are different matters; any feature-specific legal conditions still apply. Sexualized child content and attempts to bypass safety rules remain absolutely prohibited.
Review AI results before you publish, distribute, sell or rely on them. You are responsible for lawful use, required permissions and compliance with disclosed model/asset restrictions. Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, likeness and voice rights. Commercial use is subject to those obligations; it is not a guarantee of clearance or copyrightability.
The Community Guidelines apply to prompts, uploads, processing requests and outputs, including private projects, team workspaces and connected-app requests. Do not use deceptive synthetic material for fraud, harassment or other prohibited harm, and do not bypass moderation. Requested processing can involve an external model provider. Connected apps act within authorized scopes and can spend credits when starting generation requests. Content visibility follows the actual workspace, plan and request settings described in the Terms.
Your generations are private by default. Public sharing is optional and available on designated plans; the product shows the current publication requirement. You can make public content private again on any plan. Before first publication, we ask you to accept the public-content rules. Publishing does not provide training or unrelated promotional permission. Team generations remain private to the workspace. Review visibility before submitting sensitive content. A recipient or app may retain a copy of information it legitimately receives even after a later visibility change or disconnection.
You grant Aristotto the non-exclusive permission needed to receive, store, transmit, process and display your content to provide requested features, maintain the service and honor the applicable visibility. Service providers may process it as necessary to perform those functions. This operating permission does not transfer your ownership or give blanket permission for unrelated promotion or model training.
Aristotto does not currently train its own models using user content. Future personal-content training requires specific, informed opt-in; public visibility alone is not consent. Team content remains excluded. Promotion beyond ordinary service delivery requires separate permission. These statements do not establish the inference, retention or training practices of third-party model providers, which depend on the requested feature and applicable processing arrangements.
Any future personal-content training permission must be a separate affirmative opt-in. You may withdraw an applicable permission for future uses. Any limits concerning completed lawful training must be explained before requesting that consent. A default setting, ordinary service operating permission or public visibility does not create training consent.
AI results may be inaccurate, unsafe, unsuitable, incomplete, non-unique or unavailable. We do not guarantee a particular creative result, uninterrupted generation, factual correctness, exclusivity, copyrightability or freedom from third-party claims. These limitations are subject to the Terms and rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
All payments are non-refundable, and cancellation or termination does not create a refund or compensating credit for unused credits, unused access or a partial period, except where a non-waivable legal remedy requires otherwise. Eligible failed-job credit restoration remains a separate generation rule; it is not a refund or general compensation for an unwanted successful result. Contact support about an unauthorized or erroneous charge or an applicable mandatory remedy.
If we provide a translation for convenience, the English version controls differences in meaning to the extent applicable law permits. This does not waive a right to required local-language information, a mandatory consumer protection or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each published version identifies its effective date and revision; a translation must identify the source revision it translates.
